As seen in RTÉ’s Rebel Without a Ball. In 2002, Roy Keane famously left the Irish national team alone in Saipan to fend for themselves during the Japanese World Cup. With just word of mouth and no images of the dramatic exchange between Keane and then manager Mick McCarthy we were asked by director David Whelan to come up with a creative way to tell the story of the famous clash of personalities.
